Fly Deli was created with a simple goal: to make destination fly fishing easier, more reliable, and better prepared. After years of traveling the world with a fly rod in hand, we grew frustrated by the challenge of assembling the right flies for each trip. Whether relying on second-hand advice, social media, or digging through endless fly bins, the process often left us uncertain—and underprepared.

We knew there had to be a better way.

Fly Deli was born to offer a trusted, curated solution. Our fly selections are designed to give anglers the confidence that they have the right flies for the job—wherever they’re going. Each box is tailored to specific destinations or species and packed with patterns that have been hand-tested for effectiveness. No guesswork, no filler—just a complete, reliable selection that’s ready to fish.

Our mission is to help anglers focus more on the experience and less on the prep, providing high-quality, proven flies - meaning that all you need to think about is the fish!

Eco-Conscious

All our fly packs are shipped in eco-conscious packaging.
After seeing the devastation of plastic pollution on beaches which ought to be unspoilt places natural beauty, we decided we will not be a part of the problem. Our packing will never end up a hazard on tropical beaches.

The Problem

Whilst visiting the Maldives in 2025, we witnessed hermit crabs living in plastic containers, miles of plastic bottles, lids, containers and other miscellaneous plastic trash many meters deep washed up on the shores of uninhabited islands. Examining the labels indicated they’d floated across the ocean from countries as far away as Europe. Every piece of discarded plastic across the globe has the potential to end up on what ought to be a pristine beach on the other side of the world, where it will remain long after we are gone.

Our Promise

For this reason, we have chosen to use cardboard and cork to pack our flies. All of which will break down or can be recycled. We will not package flies in plastic bags or wrappers.
No hermit crabs will ever live in our discarded packaging.

Please note that we do not accept induvidual custom orders for specific patterns.
We only tie complete selection boxes of flies we have personally tried and tested for the species you have in mind.
